Mother's Day Mass
On Saturday 14th March, we celebrated our Mother’s Day Mass at St. Nicholas Church. Children from the choir joined us and sang a beautiful version of the Hail Mary.
During this special celebration, we honoured our mothers and mother figures, as well as Mary, who is so important to us all. The children also helped to lead the Mass by writing the bidding prayers and being of service to Jesus throughout the celebration. This is part of our mission as Catholic children and adults.
Thank you to everybody who joined us for such a lovely and prayerful occasion.
Class Mass
Reception and their individual Year 6 buddy took part in a celebration of Mass in school. Fr. Saji led us in our Mass and the children read, offered the gifts and sang along with our hymns beautifully. They were very reverent and respectful throughout. Some parents also came into school to join us.
Blessing of Advent Wreaths
Fr Saji came into school to help us prepare for Christmas by blessing an Advent Wreath for each class. He led us in a short service of prayer, liturgy and song.
